Things to do in the Tampa area

We want to make sure you have a wonderful time in Tampa!

Here are some of our favorite places to visit and things to do in the area.

Armature Works

Armature Works is one of the best places to visit in Tampa- and it's only 20 minutes from our reception venue! Within Armature Works includes Heights Public Market, an industrial market hall, and over 14 local eateries. There is a fun patio area outside, and it leads to the Tampa Bay Riverwalk.

We recommend you grab some lunch or coffee and enjoy a walk down by the water!

Indian Rocks Beach

You really can't go wrong when picking a beach to visit in the Tampa area! But our personal favorite is called Indian Rocks Beach. We love it because it still has the beauty of Clearwater Beach but it is more quaint and less touristy! There are lots of fun restaurants, ice cream places and surf shops!  Other beach areas we love are St. Petersburg Beach, Madeira Beach, and John's Pass- all in the St. Petersburg area.

We LOVE downtown St. Pete! There are so many fun shopping areas, coffee shops and restaurants! If you visit, we recommend you walk along Bayshore Drive- and if you like gelato our favorite place is called Paciugo! We also love to walk by the water and to the end of the pier for the most beautiful view of the city! Fun fact- we got engaged in the park to the left of the pier called Vinoy Park!
