Kate and Austin

Our love story began in the halls of Calvary Christian High School- we are high school sweethearts! We met our junior year in Spanish class when Austin transferred to Calvary. After many days of sitting next to each other and chatting in español, our friendship seemed to be turning into a little something more! At the end of the year, Austin planned the perfect first date-salsa dancing- in light of our shared love for Spanish! After that night, we spent what seems like every day together the next few weeks... and the rest was history! Summer of 2019 was full of lots of adventures, dancing in the rain, and falling in love!

The last four years, we have attended different colleges and our relationship has been long distance. It hasn't always been easy, but it has been very rewarding and has taught us so much and also deepened our love for each other greatly! We are grateful for God's faithfulness to us in sustaining our relationship and helping us grow in our love for Him and for each other over the years. It has become evident to us that God made us just for each other- we share a love for adventure, are both extreme extroverts and have a deep love for people. But most importantly we are both in love with Jesus and have strived to make Him the foundation of our relationship and each of our lives. We both have a passion for people to know Jesus, and we want to serve Him by sharing the gospel with His creation all the days of our lives.
